Woes of Virtualbox

Virtualbox 2.2.2 apparently broke some things because when I go to set up xorg on Arch Linux or Zenwalk, it simply does not work.

In Arch Linux, it alternately freezes the box on a screen running twm, or it bails out of xorg spouting some errors about the keyboard and mouse and not supporing AIGLX.

On Zenwalk, it guru meditates.

As a followup, I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling various versions of Virtualbox and installed Arch Linux afresh. Xorg is now working, but without 3D acceleration. Pity that, but I suppose I can do without Compiz in a VM for now. Installing Asterisk was not an easy task either – not that compiling from source code is all that difficult, but by now it should be easier to install binaries. I just have to figure out how to make video conferencing work now.
